In our Children's Ministry, our mission is to help kids find their way to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts.
Opportunities for Children
Calling all children to grow in Jesus!
Our desire is to offer various Bible learning opportunities for our children. Age-level classes are offered for children, infant through twelfth grade, during the Equipping Hour 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Children's church experiences are offered during the second service.
CHILDREN'S CLASSES - 9:30- 10:30 a.m. - Equipping Hour
Simply head to classroom 209 on the second floor (the sanctuary level) to sign your child in. There our dedicated ministry team of volunteers waits to greet each child and guide them to the appropriate classroom. We are committed to filling that hour with opportunities for your child to dig deep into God's Word for understanding and truth, practice praise and prayer, and explore what being a disciple of Jesus Christ is all about through storytelling, drama, music, and art. We currently have two classes infant to kindergarten and grades one to six.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH OPPORTUNITIES during second service:
LITTLE BLESSINGS - infant through kindergarten
While parents attend 10:30 a.m. Worship these young children experience creative play, Bible storytelling, music and art. Dress-up costumes, games, building blocks of all shapes and sizes, a library of books and a fully stocked 'kitchen' also make for a fun time each and every week.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH - grades 1 though 6
The children will sit with their parents at the beginning of the worship service for praise time. They are then be excused for children’s church where they will experience dynamic Bible learning and coordinating activities.
YOUTH CLASS - grades 7 through 12. 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Join in every Sunday morning for Bible-based instruction to meet the challenges of living in our modern-day society.
SPECIAL EVENTS - FOR ALL CHILDREN
Throughout the year there are special activities for our children such as Easter activities, delivering Thanksgiving baskets to our shut-ins, Love boxes, Pumpkin prayer party, and a Christmas birthday party for Jesus!
About Our Children's Ministry
Your children are important to us!
Our Children’s Ministry Team is dedicated to teaching the Word of God to children and making it fun to learn! We have selected and enhanced our children’s curriculum to challenge and engage our children's minds, hearts, and bodies. We want them to want to know the Lord and desire His presence in their lives. Your child will be introduced to God’s Word and learn how to use its wisdom to guide them through their days.
Our mission is to keep the children coming back. Whether it is during Worship or our Equipping Hour, Nursery Care, Little Blessings, Children's Church, or other special events, our entire Children’s Ministry team puts their energies into making the experience enjoyable, educational, and spirited!
Our child-centered worship and lessons are presented in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment filled with love.
