Walter has been the lead pastor at First Church since 2006. His heart and calling are to shepherd this congregation and lead us into all that God has for us. Consider his thoughts from a recent Pastor’s Message in the church newsletter.
“God has so much more for us; individually and corporately. There is so much more of His goodness, His presence, His love, His joy, His peace, His freedom, His power – and on and on it goes. And He is bursting with desire to give more to us. It’s His will. It’s His heart. If God could have things His own way, we. would. have. more.”
Walter is leading First Church into that more!

Don Kinnier is our organist for the 8:30 a.m. traditional service. He began as a substitute for our previous organist. When the previous organist left we were blessed to have Don come on as our regular organist. He shares his wonderful talents with us, leading us into worship and bringing much glory to God. Outside of church Don is gifted and accomplished as an accompanist of silent films. He is considered one of the premier silent film accompanists in the Northeast.
