Like the people of Exodus, we are liberated from our slavery under sin to death. Today, we journey in the Wilderness, our daily life in this world. We no longer live by the patterns and expectations of the world of sin and evil. We are the New Creation in Christ so we need New law. God of Israel gave the Ten Commandments to the people in the wilderness but its wisdom, value, and the will of God are still effective for His people, the Church.
